Sorry for the lack of updates......
Kara is doing ok. She's in the rough part right now (which was expected). She's on IV nutrition to give her digestive system a break. She also spiked a fever a couple of days ago but they've got her on IV antibiotics taking care of any infection she might have. They are keeping a close eye on her during the time that it takes for my cells to start working. It will probably be another week or two before she starts feeling any better.

Kara, I work with Ken at UT Medical Center. I feel like I know you because he talks about you everyday. I just wanted you to know that you are in my prayers.

Thanks for the update. Sending prayers that Kara the rest of the healing is uneventful.
Kara is in my prayers. We are cheering her on. She can do this. Its really tough, but it is worth it. Tell her to keep her eye on the prize. There are two allo transplants in my support group. Both are about 6 years from transplant and both are doing really really well. Both are cancer free!
